Luciano Lamonarca is a pop-operatic tenor, philanthropist, producer and artistic director of many musical projects, which he creates, develops and launch and which he crowns with his performance, organized mainly in support of right and noble causes, among which we recall the tribute to the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations, the supporting event of the Columbia University Medical Center, Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and the tour “Lamonarca & Friends - United for Abruzzo”. Luciano Lamonarca is also President of the Puglia Center of America, an organization established to support charitable causes through the creation of artistic events. “My inspiration and satisfaction come from knowing that I contribute to the fact that the voice of someone is being heard”, he once said in an interview.
His personal motto is: “Become the change that you want to see!”
He has been interviewed by numerous television networks such as Rai Uno, Rai Tre, Rai International, Tele Norba, Antenna Sud and TGS Sicily. Articles about him were published in Daily News, The Italian Times, The Italian Tribune, The Italia Magazine (in Russian), La Repubblica, America Oggi, Il Quotidiano.Net, Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno, La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno and Il Giornale di Sicilia. M°stro Lamonarca performed under the patronage of the highest national and international institutions such as United Nations, European Union, the Italian Republic, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Ministry of Youth, the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Italian Chamber of Deputies, the Italian Commission of Unesco, the Italian Consulate of New York, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, Regions of Puglia and Sicily. He performed concerts in very famous and prestigious theatres and auditoriums, in the United States, Europe and Africa, some of which we are the Bruno Walter auditorium in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Milwaukee Athletic Club, the Philadelphia Theatre Company, the Great Hall of the National Palace of the Philharmonic Orchestra in Minsk, the Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna, the Politeama Garibaldi Theater of Palermo and the auditorium La Vallisa of Bari. In March 2009 he released his first CD titled “Mamma”, dedicated to his dear mother and launched in a press conference in New York, where part of the proceeds of the CD sales went to the missionary project “City of Hope” in Zambia. He currently resides in New York State.
Giuseppe Resta was born and raised in Gioia del Colle (Bari). In 1998 he decided to move to New York, where he has been living and working since, while remaining connected to the roots and traditions of his beloved Puglia.From 1999 to 2000 he worked Banca Antonveneta as a back office specialist.
In 2000 he was given the opportunity to work for one of the largest and most reliable Brokerage Firm in NY/USA, named BNY-Mellon, of which he became a successful Stock Loan Supervisor.
In 2006 he had obtained series 7 and 63 broker licenses and subsequentially accepted to work for Aig Global Investment Group as a Stock Loan trader assistant. In 2008, thanks to a valuable support of her sister/partner Nunziata, he established a successful Vacation Rental company named Smeralda’s LLC, of which he still is the President and CEO. He is also the Founder and President/Ceo of Us in US LLC, a recently established International Business and Financial Development company, based in New York City.
Valentina Popa is fluent in 5 languages – English, French, Italian, Romanian and Russian.
A Laureate in folklore music of her country, she got successfully involved in numerous artistic projects dedicated to noble causes in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago.
Connected by deep roots to the land of Italy, Puglia Center of America attracted her through its innovative goals and ideas, which she embraced with energy and dedication.
